Fraudsters net iPad and laptop

POLICE are investigating after fake vouchers were used to buy goods from two electronics shops in Bristol.

The frauds took place on February 25 when two people visited the stores in Cabot Circus and Winterstoke Road to buy a laptop computer and an iPad.

Two other attempted frauds also occurred.

Police have released photos of a man and a woman they believe are involved in the incidents.

The man was white, aged 20-25, about 5ft 6in tall with short brown hair.

He was wearing a blue Adidas top with white stripes on the arms, a white T-shirt and blue Adidas jogging bottoms with white strips down the legs.

The woman was white, aged 21-25, about 5ft 7in, of slim build with very long brown hair that was dyed red or pink in patches.

She was wearing a peach top, blue jeans and knee-high boots and was carrying a black leather bag.

It is believed she had a tattoo saying "J'adore" on the index finger of her left hand.

Anyone who recognises these people or who has information about the fraud should call PC Neal on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via the website www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Callers do not have to give their name and their number will not be traced.
